Bright Today Foundation was founded in 2025 by a passionate group of friends who believed that every underprivileged individual deserves a chance at a better life. What began as a shared conviction has quickly transformed into a powerful volunteering movement for India's younger generation. We bridge the gap between passion and purpose by empowering youth to drive sustainable, ground-level change.

Our Origin Story: Built on Purpose
Every organization starts with a spark. For Bright Today Foundation, that spark was ignited by our founder, Jothilakshmi.
Jothilakshmi
Before starting Bright Today Foundation, Jothilakshmi spent years in grassroots social work and saw how programs often fail when they are not built with the community they serve. What changed everything was meeting a bright young girl who had to leave school at twelve because her family could not afford supplies and uniforms. That moment pushed her to gather a small group of volunteers and experts and build the support system that has since grown into Bright Today Foundation.
Our work is far from finished. We are not building quick fixes. We are investing in real, lasting growth, one child, one family, and one community at a time.
Yasotha
Yasotha brings a strong background in organizational management to Bright Today Foundation. She leads our partnerships, guides our volunteer network, and keeps our programs accountable, so every rupee and every hour reaches the people who need it most.
Building this foundation with Jothilakshmi was an easy decision. We both believe real change takes practical, patient work, and every day we try to build something that lasts.
